Sumit Dawar's journey to CA

As we all know , Charted accountancy (CA) is among one of the most difficult professional courses to get a secure and respectable job. Many of us focusing on our dreams to achieve our goal, by doing hard work, focused working and all. After taking commerce , one of the most common field that has been observed to taken mostly by students is CA... We all lack motivation once in our life and by getting frustrated by day to day activities .we usually quit ,but that's not really good. Today we are gonna tell your a little story of Mr. Sumit Dawar who successed after many attempts.

Sumit Dawar's journey of becoming a Chartered Accountant is truly inspiring. Dawar, who cleared the entry-level CPT and second-level IPCC exams in the first attempt, took as many as eight attempts to clear CA Final exams. Though he failed eight times, unlike most students, he didn't slip into depression or quit.03-Jul-2019.

Growing up He was very good academically. When it was time to decide on a career He chose to pursue Chartered Accountancy from ICAI (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India).

He cleared CPT and IPCC exams (aka PE-1 & PE-2 back then) in one go, completed his 3 years of articles and just had one more exam – CA Final to become a Chartered Accountant. 

Unfortunately, he kept failing these exams. Well, it obviously wasn’t easy for him emotionally and mentally. After all, he was a topper in his school and suddenly failing so many times created so much of self-doubt.

Every time when He attended a family function, everyone used to ask him the same question – ‘BETA CA HO GAYI’. They looked at him with those eyes of being lazy or being dumb. Some of them would indirectly told him that he was not giving his best.

There were days when he felt like quitting CA. However, the fact that he cleared CPT and IPCC exams in one go, completed his 3 years of articles and just had one more exam, he kept chasing CA with the HOPE that this attempt might be my last attempt!

Finally, after 8 attempts He cleared my CA Final exams and became a qualified Chartered Accountant in 2014.
